The Jewish Museum
The museum is located in the monumental complex of The Great Synagogue, the main synagogue of the city. It was opened in 1960 with the aim of collecting the contributions of the Roman Jewish community.
There are seven exhibition rooms with magnificent pieces of art and precious documents that tell the over 2,000 year old history of Roman Jews, one of the most ancient Jewish communities.
You can admire a collection of about 400 pieces of silver, 900 different fabrics, 100 marbles and also documents and parchments.
