Project Description

The “Gianni Barracco” Museum of Ancient Sculpture

The museum is inside the Palazzetto Le Roy, a building that belongs to the fifteen hundreds. It contains various works of classical art and Middle Eastern art, which were donated by Baron Giovanni Baracco in 1904.

Some pieces come from ancient civilizations like the Sumers, the Egyptians, the Romans and the Etruscans so visitors will have a wide angle view on the culture of the countries of the Mediterranean.
