National Roman Museum – Palazzo Massimo

The museum is located inside the 1800’s Palazzo Massimo alle Terme and it contains one of the most important classical art collections in the world.

On the fourth floor of the museum, by way of an exhibition itinerary that brings the history, mythology and everyday Roman era to life, you can find sculptures, frescoes, mosaics, coins and work by goldsmiths documenting the evolution of artistic Roman culture during the late Republican, Imperial and late-ancient eras.

 

Single ticket valid for 3 days at 4 sites (Palazzo Massimo, Palazzo Altemps, Crypta Balbi and Baths of Diocletian)
